"If KILLahBEEN wouldn't have dropped his Album "公開", SD JUNKSTA's "OVERDOSE NIPPON" would've been my favorite Album of the year."
That's what i said last year when SD JUNKSTA were dropping their new CD. Well. At that time i didn't have my hand's on DyyPRIDE's Album "Ride so dyyp." So i want to clarify this: I totally love SD JUNKSTA's most recent release "OVERDOSE NIPPON" and i'll definitely Review that CD here, as well. But to me, "OVERDOSE NIPPON" pales in direct comparison to the most recent release of SIMI LAB's own, DyyPRIDE "Ride so dyyp." Why? I'll tell you.

Time for some more japanese Rap CD Reviews, folks!
I got quite a few Reviews in my pipeline, because recently i came across so many great Albums, it would be really sad if you would miss them, so enought with the chit-chat, let's get right to it!
Before i continue with my Reviews to the other 2 CD's from "神" i want to Review my personal Album of the year (up until now.) It's from an artist called "KILLahBEEN." You don't have to feel bad if you do not know him, because he is a newcomer. He released his first album this year, and it's called "公開" (KOKAI, which translates to "Open to the public.")
If you just take a quick glance at the cover you already know that you are in for some classic, crisp, underground Rap aka exactly what the GIANT loves. Let's take a closer listen to this.

Maybe you've heard it already: Since a few weeks i'm a member of 81 Records Japan and as a starter, the founder "UKEY" wanted to do a little colaboration with me. I was in charge for the Beat. And this is how this Single was born:
Needless to say, i'm the only german artist on that Label, so in the future it is pretty likely that you'll hear more interwined lyrics aka a mixture of Japanese, English and german sentences in my lyrics.
Of course you know me already: I'm just a huge fan of the asian culture and i want to make japanese Rap more popular and i hope i can attract some of you guys to this superb music.
Alright guys and girls, this is something that i always wanted to do and this will be a regular category of my Blog (and it will make me post more than just twice a year on this Blog ;))
You know how much i love japanese Rap. I even rap in japanese myself, so i want to introduce you guys to japanese Rap Music a bit more with my Blog and that's why i'm starting to Review some japanese Rap Albums up in here. So let's get started right away.
The first Album i'm going to Review is the first release from "神" called "ザ パンチ" which was released 2005. So it's a rather old Album. The first Album i've heard from 神 was "Master of the Punch" which was released back in 2009 and it was his last release so far. To be honest: I didn't really like that Album back then, but lately i've been tuning into some of his Tracks and i actually really enjoy them.
As you can clearly see from my Last.FM "Recently listened Tracks" history
So i thought "Let's just Review every single Album from him, starting with his first one."
That being said, i also didn't really enjoy ザ パンチ at first, but some months ago, when i kinda started liking "Master of the punch" i also started to like this particular release. So let's see what 神 has to offer.
